New products: Latest In Beauty - Chantecaille - Skyn Iceland

Limited edition beauty boxes, tick! Sumptuous face cream, tick! Anti-wrinkle face patches, tick! That pretty much sums up this week’s pick of the best new product launches. So let’s get on with the post.

Latest In Beauty – Exclusive Caudalie and BeautyMART Beauty Boxes

Latest In Beauty, who produce some of the best beauty boxes around in my opinion, have launched two new special edition boxes following separate collaborations with Caudalie and BeautyMART. The Caudalie box features three products from the brand’s new Polyphenol C15 anti-wrinkle range: a serum, eye and lip cream, and SPF 20 protect fluid. It is priced at £9.95. The BeautyMART box, meanwhile, contains 9 of their selected cult products including Balmain Silk Perfume (full size - 200ml), Weleda Skin Food (10ml), Rimmel BB Cream Matte (8ml tube, shade ‘light’), and a 10ml Yu-Be Moisturising Skin Cream free gift. This box - said to be worth over £50 – costs £12.95. Both boxes are available now, without membership, here.

Chantecaille – La Crème à la Rose de Mai

To mark its 15th anniversary, luxury skincare brand Chantecaille is introducing a new face cream infused with Rose de Mai, one of the world’s rarest roses and a floral ingredient central to the brand’s heritage. The formula blends four types of plant stem cells as well as new elements to help boost skin’s radiance and its natural ability to protect, repair and hydrate itself. Vitamin C rich Rose de Mai pure extract, hyaluronic acid boosting wild pansy extract, detoxifying sweet pea stem cells, and pre- and pro-biotic complex have been combined in this rich formula with anti-ageing Niacinamide, Matrixyl 3000 and anti-inflammatory raspberry stem cells. Chantecaille La Crème à la Rose de Mai is priced at £175 and will available next month at Harrods, Liberty, Space NK and Fenwick. Info on Chantecaille here.

Skyn Iceland – Hydro Cool Firming Face Gels

Face in need of an instant pick-me-up? This could be your answer. Skyn Iceland, the skincare brand sold at selected M&S Beauty stores, has expanded its range of gel patches with the launch of two face gels. These, it claims, will visibly smooth forehead furrows and smile lines - in 10 minutes flat. Goodness! After cleansing, remove the backing and apply these gel side to outer corners of the mouth area and/or forehead for 10 minutes. Remove by gently peeling away the patch. These single use patches, which follow the range's eye patches, are packed with anti-ageing ingredients to speed up collagen production, relax facial muscle contractions, soften and protect, as well as brighten, moisturise and soothe skin. Naturally, they also feature the proprietary Skyn Iceland Icelandic complex which, among other things, contains pure Icelandic glacial water. The patches come in a £30 pack of 8 (4x forehead and 4x pairs of smile lines) and will be available in May. I’ve got a few samples of these new patches. I can’t wait to test them and report back.
