Beauty boxes offer a great way to discover brands and products that might not otherwise have crossed your mind, and the Naturisimo ones are coming along thick and fast right now.
Last week saw the organic beauty online store launch its latest discovery collection, ‘Kiss & Make-Up’. Priced at £9.95, it is worth over £45! It has now sold out, though – you do often have to be quick to grab one of these!
What I like about the Naturisimo edits is not just the price (recent ones have cost under a tenner), but they’re also available without subscription, so you can pick and choose the ones you want. Plus, you know what you’re getting before you order, unlike some schemes.
‘Kiss & Make-Up’ contains seven full, trial and sample sized products for eyes, lips, cheeks and face. Brands featured are Inika, Bellapierre, Jane Iredale, Green People and Madara. In brief there’s a mascara, a Kabuki powder brush, a lip and cheek stain, a full size lip tint and three sachets of tinted moisturiser.
There are some true delights (and finds) in here for me. I’ll start with one of my favourites…
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain – 1.4g
The nude orange hue developed into a surprising warm rose pink on my lips, illuminating my natural skin tone. The formula is also nourishing and soothing – it contains olive and avocado butter, rose wax , rose flower, plus bees wax.
Inika Organic Lip Tint in Candy
A full-size organic and vegan lip tint. It comes in a streamlined stick, so it can be easily applied while on the go. This has a very subtle golden shimmer to it, making it look natural on the lips. It’s formulated with softening shea butter and cooling peppermint oil.
Bellapierre Kabuki Brush
This is a full-size super soft synthetic Kabuki brush. I never powder my face without one!
Jane Iredale Longest Last Mascara in Black Ice – 3g

Not the most lash lengthening or thickening mascara I’ve used but I like the skincare aspect to it - it’s infused with Vitamin B5 and seaweed lipids to condition and protect.
Madara Tinted Moisturiser in Sun Flower and Moon Flower – (1.5ml x 2)
Ooh, now, I do very much love this lightweight tinted fluid. It is said to hydrate and illuminate - it does both, noticeably well!
Green People Tinted Moisturiser (2ml)
A DD cream with a 15SPF. Provides full coverage without being heavy - it’s got a whipped consistency so feels feather light on the skin. Full review here.
