NEW: Urban Decay, MAC Cosmetics, Lancôme, Korres

Film collabs and collections sum up my pick of the week’s new beauty launches – and what fine collections they are too!

Urban Decay, Alice Through the Looking Glass – out 5 May

Now this really is something to behold. A stunning array of kaleidoscopic eyeshadows and lipsticks housed in equally spectacular packaging – all inspired by Disney’s new trippy take on the Lewis Carroll classic, Alice Through the Looking Glass.

The UD/Disney collaboration includes a limited edition pop-up eyeshadow palette (£45) and five limited edition lipsticks (£16). It’s all very colourful, wacky, madcap, crazy… everything you’d want and expect from a makeup collection inspired by a Tim Burton-produced movie. If you follow UD on Instagram you may have seen teaser pics the brand has been posting this week. If not, here’s a  link.

MAC Cosmetics,  Good Luck Trolls – online launch 28 July, then nationwide

Keeping with the film collab theme, and all things wild and wacky for that matter, MAC Cosmetics is launching a 22-piece makeup range inspired by the new Dreamworks movie Good Luck Trolls. If you follow Mac on Instagram, you may have seen bits and pieces as the brand has also been posting teasers.

Remember those wild-haired dolls with rainbow tufts, bejewelled bellies and lucky charms? Well, here they are in a makeup format. The upcoming collection includes bold, bright and glittery products for the lips, eyes and face. There’s also going to be a face brushes named ‘Bubble Butt’ and ‘Twerkquoise’. It all looks and sounds very playful! More here.

Lancôme Energie De Vie -  out next week

From high energy make-up to high-energy skincare – well that’s the aim anyway. Lancôme has just launched a new range of products designed to boost and re-energise our complexions.

Energie De Vie includes a smoothing and glow boosting tonic (from £28), an overnight recovery mask (£42), and a plumping lotion (£28). The products are formulated with antioxidants and vitamins including goji berries, lemon balm and gentian root extract – all chosen for their energising and protective properties. More on Lancôme here.

Korres, Almond Cherry Bath and Body Collection – out now

Korres is a brand I keep meaning to explore properly. They’re stocked at my local Fenwick and I guarantee I’ll always have a quick gander at the display every time I pop in (the clean and fresh packaging and the natural ingredients appeal to me). This new almond and cherry range sounds exquisite – Bakewell tart anyone?

The shower gel (£8) and body milk (£10) are meant to launch 11 May but I’ve noticed Feelunique has the former in stock now here.
