Elemis - Limited Edition Summer, Set, Glow Collection
First up Elemis, which has just launched a holiday collection featuring handy sizes of hero skincare. Included are Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser (30ml), Soothing Apricot Toner (50ml), Total Glow Gradual Tan for Face (20ml), Pro-Radiance Flash Balm (50ml – full size) and Tan Accelerator (125ml – full size). The products come with a free beach friendly tote, and a clear cosmetics pouch.
The Limited Edition Summer, Set, Glow Collection costs £50 (a saving of £29 on normal prices). It is available to buy now on the high street from retailers including Debenhams, here. Just the job for those heading for sunny climes this summer.
Stila - 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Ice-Cream Collection
Next we have Stila, with its limited edition Ice-Cream Collection of three eye shadow trios and two cheek duos. Created to celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary, the line comes in pretty vintage packaging - the eyeshadow compacts feature illustrations of pastel ice cream cones, and the cheek compacts lollipops. All rather sweet.
Continuing the ice-cream theme, the eye shadow colours are Mocha Chip (pink nude), Neopolitan (brown nude) and Rocky Road (taupe nude). They can be worn wet or dry, and are priced £18 each. The cheek duos come in Strawberry Cream Pop (peach pink and golden brown) and Creamsicle (baby pink and golden brown). These are priced £16 each. The Ice-Cream Collection launched exclusively at Selfridges this week. More on Stila here.
Oriflame - Long Wear Nail Polish Summer Shades
Oriflame, meanwhile, has added 5 vibrant new summer colours to its The One Long Wear Nail Polish range. The collection gives a high shine finish and is said to be flake free for up to 14 days. I'm lucky if my varnish stays put for a whole day, even with undercoat and topcoat - nothing seems to stop the chips! Available in bright yellow, orange, pink, green and blue, the limited edition polishes will be available from 4th July. They cost £5.95 each. Stockist details here. That wraps up this week’s ‘top picks’. All that talk of sandy beaches, ice cream flavours and summer sun clearly got the better of me. I’m off now to buy a cookie ice cream to eat in the park. Not quite Ibiza, granted!
