But ‘top picks’ is back today with a collection of products which I hope you’ll find interesting – I’ve tried to keep it a bit varied. First up we have a selection from Space NK. It’s Double Points time for Space NK’s N.Dulge loyalty card holders, until midnight this Sunday (if you’re not a member do join – it’s a fab scheme!). What perfect timing, I thought, for a round-up of upcoming arrivals. This is all stuff that you can currently pre-order. Following that is a new BB cream from Burberry and a new fragrance from Juicy Couture.
Space NK – Sarah Chapman Spot Stickers
New from Sarah Chapman are Spot Stickers, invisible stickers infused with pimple healing ingredients that you apply directly. I think these are incredibly novel. You pop them on a spot and leave them there to work their magic as you go about your day. They are formulated with salicylic acid, P Refinyl, retinol-like Sytenol A and vitamin C. This cocktail of actives releases over time to help calm and reduce redness, decongest and speed up spot recovery.Priced £19 for 16 stickers, they come in a signature Sarah Chapman Skinesis wallet. Pre-order now, with dispatch expected 13th June. More info here.
Space NK - Percy & Reed Invisible Dry Shampoo
Billed as a new breakthrough formula, this dry shampoo is said to spray on completely clear so that it’s totally undetectable on scalp or in hair. That is music to my ears! I’m a massive dry shampoo addict (how else would I get away with washing my hair just twice a week!) but most brands do leave a white powdery residue if you spray too liberally or too close to the scalp. This Percy & Reed formula is also said to absorb excess oil whilst building volume at the roots. Priced £12 for 150ml, it is available to pre-order now, with dispatch expected 18th June. More info here .
Space NK – R+Co Haircare Collection
My final top pick from the upcoming Space NK arrivals is R+Co. This is a completely new range of haircare and styling products, available exclusively to Space NK right now. I attended last month’s event in London to mark the launch and was wowed by the R+Co selection previewed. Check out my review of the Bel Air shampoo and conditioner here.We now have full pricing details for the products, which start at £18 for the One Prep Spray and go up to £27 each for the Death Valley Dry Shampoo and Outer Space Flexible Hairspray (such inventive product names). Available to pre-order now, with dispatch expected today! More info here.
Burberry - Fresh Glow BB Cream
There are 2 formulas: a skin perfecting balm with SPF 20 offering sheer coverage with a dewy finish; and a skin correcting balm with SPF 30 and PA +++ (broad spectrum UVA/UVB), offering a medium coverage with a skin enhancing finish. The former is available in 3 shades (Fair No.01, Medium No.02 and Dark No. 03) and the latter in 2 (Nude Rose No.01 and Nude Honey No.02). They cost £30 for 30ml. Available now from Burberry.com, Burberry stores and selected retailers. More info here.
Juicy Couture – Viva La Juicy Gold Couture
Viva La Juicy was a real favourite of mine last year (and was it also the year before, oh gosh, my memory!). I do remember that I first got a free sample with a Debenhams order and that was it - I was hooked. Anyway, Juicy Couture has reinvented the fragrance for a new scent, which it describes as even more decadent than the original! It features top notes of wild berry, a floral heart of honeysuckle and jasmine and mellows with vanilla and sandalwood. It’s housed in the classic Viva La Juicy bottle, brought up-to-date with a melted gold and hot pink couture embossed nameplate. Priced at £35 or 30ml, £48 for 50ml and £65 for 100ml, Viva La Juicy Gold Couture will be on counter nationwide from August. Info on Juicy Couture here.
